12 Stars in the Brass Sky:
From Bach to the Star Wars Suite
This is the ensemble’s second concert at this year’s Sauerland Autumn festival: They take us on a journey through the highlights of music—from Bach to Rossini to Gershwin and all the way into space—with “Mars” and “Moon River,” from “Stardust” to the “Star Wars” Suite. It is precisely through this versatility and innovative programming that the ensemble has made a name for itself, as well as through its successes at the German Music Competition and the Mendelssohn-Bartholdy University Competition. All members have since gone on to join renowned orchestras across Germany. The ensemble has released three CDs to date. But experiencing this “Reaching for the Stars” live is even more wonderful!
