Looking forward to the Sauerland-Höhenflug-Trailrun

It's finally time again for trail running on one of the Sauerland's most challenging and beautiful routes. After a solo run last year, numerous runners will once again be taking on the half marathon, 10-kilometer and 5-kilometer routes together on Sunday, 12 June. Registration for the event is still possible online at www.hoehenflug-trailrun.de until June 7.

Volksbank Sauerland covers entry fees for schoolchildren
The school cross-country race is an exciting cross-country course of just under one km for the younger pupils and 1.7 km for the older pupils. The start and finish for all runners is the Mega-Sports-Center in Sundern-Hagen. The pupils will receive certificates and medals. And best of all: all pupils start free of charge. This is because Volksbank Sauerland is paying the entry fees for the young runners.

Chip timing in the start number & high-quality wooden trophies
Timekeeping is done with a chip directly in the start number. This means that runners do not have to attach a separate chip. Simply attach their race number to the front of their shirt, run, have fun and win a certificate and high-quality wooden trophies for the first-placed runners. For the first time, runners can also support the "Waldlokal" campaign. With a small contribution, trees will be planted in the urban area.

Sauerland-Höhenflug-Trailun is presented by Naust Hunecke
The fact that sport is possible again without restrictions after 2 years of major restrictions makes the trail run special. "We are looking forward to the new edition and that sport is finally possible again together. Sport has a great social significance and we are therefore happy to support the Sauerland-Höhenflug-Trailrun," reports Dominic Biegansky from Naust Hunecke. Peter Nolte from the organization team adds: "The anticipation is huge. We would like to thank the many sponsors and Sauerland Tourism for their support, which makes the trail run possible in the first place."

New finisher shirts and starter bag with lots of added value
All participants can look forward to new finisher shirts (see group photo attached) and thanks to the partners, all starters will receive a starter bag with a small gift. In addition, there will be athlete-friendly refreshments on the course and refreshing Veltins Alkoholfrei 0.0% as well as small snacks at the finish. The popular fresh pasta and various cakes provide additional energy.

Scoring run for the Volksbank Sauerland Lauf Cup
The Sauerland-Höhenflug-Trailrun is once again part of the Volksbank Sauerland Lauf Cup with the following races: 10 km (adults), 5 km (youth) and 1.7 and 1 km (schoolchildren). All runners who start at these distances are automatically counted for the Lauf Cup.
