The first outdoor event for influencers and bloggers took place in the Sauerland under the motto "Sauerland meets Columbia". For three days, the twelve participants went on a discovery tour through the region. Always with them: camera, smartphone and an eye for the next impressive motif for their own social media channel. The program included a tour to the Bruchhauser Steine, stand-up paddling yoga on the Hennesee and a ranger hike through the local nature.
"More and more young people are finding inspiration for vacation trips and day trips on channels such as Instagram and Pinterest," says Julia Fust, co-organizer and responsible for marketing at Sauerland Tourism. "The joint event with Columbia is intended to bring together German influencers from the outdoor industry who will showcase the Sauerland on their channels for their thousands of followers with unique motifs." And the program was packed with a number of highlights.
After arriving at the KNAUS Campingpark Hennesee on the first day, the participants set off on a discovery tour around Willingen along the "Blick-ins-Land Kahle Pöhn" hiking tour with its striking heathland and fantastic views - a real highlight with recognition value. Afterwards, the participants rounded off the evening with a BBQ around the campfire.
The alarm clock rang again at half past three in order to be at the Bruchhauser Steine in time for sunrise. After the photos were taken, the influencers went on a tour of the roastery at the QUADRO Café in Brilon, followed by a ranger hike, before a barbecue at Xaver's ranch in Vellinghausen rounded off the day.
The last day got off to a sporty start with a hike to Berghauser Bucht and a session of stand-up paddling yoga on the Hennesee. After a picnic with a view of the crystal-clear water in the middle of the Sauerland landscape, the participants returned home. In their luggage: many breathtaking impressions of the Sauerland and fascinating motifs from "Germany's most inspiring outdoor region".
