Around the reservoir - spiritual hiking trail of St. Nicholas Church Olsberg

Pilgrims' route around the reservoir:
Leave St. Nikolaus and turn left onto Bahnhofstraße. At the second traffic circle, turn right onto Ruhrstraße, cross the Ruhr and then turn left into the street "Zum Stausee" about 50 meters further on. When you reach the reservoir, turn right into the street "Im Dahle" (Kurterrainweg 6), which you continue to follow. Along the way, you cross the railroad line at the Olsberg power station and continue in the original direction. After approx. 600 meters, Kurterrainweg 6 splits and you take the left fork, which takes you over the railroad line and the Ruhr. Follow Kurterrainweg 6 initially parallel to the main road, then underneath it and, as the path climbs, follow the K6 markings to the left again. After about 300 meters, the K6 turns right onto the main road, where you continue straight ahead along the Ruhr and then directly along the lake to the weir. Turn left onto the dam and at the end of the dam you will reach the road "Zum Stausee" which will take you back to St. Nikolaus (see outward route).
