The Kneipp AktivWeg in Olsberg is closely connected to the Kneipp ErlebnisPark and winds like a green ribbon through a diverse landscape of health and adventure. Along the route, nature, exercise, and relaxation come together to form a varied loop trail that brings the Kneipp philosophy to life in a pleasant way. Marked by the blue watering can, the trail leads to the Kneipp rest areas within the town. Water treatments, arm basins, natural water-treading areas, herb and fruit gardens, exercise stations, and quiet spots to linger invite you to discover the five elements according to Sebastian Kneipp with all your senses. Particularly charming are the paths along the Ruhr and Gierskopp rivers, the renaturalized Ruhr floodplains, the OlsbergEck, and the Dr. Grüne Kneipp Park with its mature trees. The Kneipp Active Trail is ideal for anyone who wants to combine relaxation, light exercise, and an experience of nature. As a barrier-free loop trail, it provides gentle access to Olsberg’s Kneipp culture and allows visitors to experience health in nature in a relaxed, vivid, and soothing way.
