The town of Warstein has founded a new grid company, WVG Netz Holding GmbH, together with Westenergie AG and Warsteiner Brauerei Haus Cramer KG. Since the beginning of 2024, however, only the town of Warstein and Westenergie AG have been shareholders in this company. As the parent company of WVG Netz GmbH, the new company is responsible for operating the electricity and gas grids in the Warstein municipal area with retroactive effect from 01.01.2023.
