WESTKALK is a joint venture between the three companies Fritz Weiken, Franz Köster Hartsteinwerke and Steinwerke F.J. Risse.
The companies have been based in Warstein for generations and are specialists in the field of Devonian mass lime and its many forms of application.
A new era began in 2007 with WESTKALK
Based on the traditions of the parent companies, WESTKALK has been operating since 2007 with three owner families and is continuously developing its product range for the benefit of its customers. WESTKALK employs around 60 people and, with an annual turnover of around €16 million, is one of the leading companies in the industry. Up to 1.7 million tons of limestone are extracted from the quarries in Warstein and Kallenhardt every year. As a medium-sized, owner-managed company with a long tradition and excellent infrastructure, we are accustomed to providing our customers with personal and unbureaucratic support.
