A wonderful, approximately four-hour hike through the woods leads from the starting point at the Weifetal hiking parking lot to the Heidkopf observation tower. The observation tower on the Heidkopf near Hallenberg, on the eastern edge of the Rothaar Mountains, offers a unique panoramic view.
