The Stadtsportverband Warstein e.V.

The Stadtsportverband Warstein (SSV) is the community of sports clubs in the town of Warstein.

The SSV is based in Warstein and is entered in the register of associations at the local court in Warstein.
The SSV pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of the "Tax-privileged purposes" section of the German Tax Code. The members do not receive any benefits from the association's funds.

The purpose of the SSV Warstein is to ensure that all residents of the town of Warstein are given the opportunity to take part in sport under contemporary conditions, to promote sport in every respect and to coordinate the measures necessary for this, taking particular account of the increasingly extensive and important leisure activities, to represent sport in inter-association and interdisciplinary matters - also vis-à-vis the town (district and municipality) and in public - and to regulate the associated issues of its members.
