The trail is 2.2 km long. It has very little incline and is easy to walk. Along the way, numerous information signs provide answers to fascinating questions. There’s also plenty to discover.

For example, the trail takes you past a large beehive and a traditional farm vegetable garden in the middle of an orchard meadow. A special highlight is an authentic charcoal kiln site, where a charcoal burner produces charcoal the traditional way at various times throughout the year. You can also purchase the charcoal right there on the spot—as a souvenir of your visit to the Ebbegebirge.
