Address

Old Bringhäuser Bridge

34549 Edertal

The bridge once connected Bringhausen and Nieder-Werbe. When the water level is low, you can see parts of the Eder bridge built in 1897. The bridge was destroyed by the flooding of the dam; today, at low water, the bridgeheads and bridge piers can still be seen.

Directions

How to get there We recommend traveling via Bringhäuser Straße (K35). Parking Mellbach parking lot or parking spaces in Seestraße Public transportation Nearest bus stop: Edertal-Bringhausen Denkmal Line/s: 515, 583.1 NVV-ServcieTelefon: 0800-939-0800 All connections including AST cab connections can be found in detail via the NVV timetable information - www.nvv.de/fahrplanauskunft Tip for smartphones - download the "NVV Mobil" app from the relevant app store before the tour! In general, the "AST-Taxi" (AnrufSammelTaxi) should also be included in the planning. With the AnrufSammelTaxis (AST), the NVV ensures mobility on routes that are not in high demand. Instead of taking the bus, you travel in normal cabs or hire cars. ASTs also have fixed timetables - all you have to do is (usually) call 30 minutes before your journey. Please also note that ASTs only operate when there are no regular buses running at the same time. Call the shared cab center: +49 (0) 5631-5062088
