This rock formation consists of solid rock that has been shaped by natural erosion over time. The different layers of the rock give an indication of the geological history of the region. The cliffs are located above Oberhundem. Several hiking trails lead past them, including the Rothaarsteig trail Oberhundemer Bergtour.
