The Rahrbach Kreuz is a station cross along the Holy Procession route.
Until about 100 years ago, the procession carrying the Blessed Sacrament took place on Trinity Sunday—the former great and joyful Feast of the Holy Spirit—circling the entire parish via Kruberg, Arnoldihof, and Fahlenscheid. One station was at the Rahrbach Cross. In the past, a simple oak cross without a corpus stood here. In 1960, it was replaced by a new cross with a corpus.
The Themed Hiking Trail
“Rahrbach Poetry Trail—Connecting with Myself and Nature Through Poetry”
This approximately 8-kilometer circular hiking trail (on easily navigable forest paths with few gentle inclines) aims to inspire inner reflection, creativity, and a deeper connection with nature.
Enjoy the heavenly forest atmosphere of the rustling coniferous and deciduous woods on this loop hike, and let short poems at six locations inspire you to linger, reflect, and enjoy nature with all your senses.

Note:
The Rahrbach Poetry Trail passes through specially protected forest areas in the vicinity of Rest Areas 3 and 4, where you must stay on the designated trails. This means that on this section of the Rahrbach Poetry Trail, you are not permitted to enter the forest off the trails.
And, of course, entering the forest anywhere is at your own risk. This also applies to hiking on the Rahrbach Poetry Trail.
