With the cabaret stage, TuS Meinerzhagen is deliberately breaking new ground: a sports club as host for intimate cultural formats. The aim is not to compete with existing event organizers, but to complement the town's cultural offerings in a meaningful way and set new accents.
The concept is based on the idea of the popular "living room concerts". Visitors experience concerts and performances up close, are close to the artist and almost become part of the event themselves. This closeness creates a special connection between the stage and the audience.
The planned program is varied: acoustic concerts, readings and occasional puppet shows for children will characterize the portfolio of the cabaret stage. The focus is on quality, a personal atmosphere and respectful interaction.
Admission to the events is free of charge. At the end, each visitor decides for themselves how much the experience was worth to them - in the spirit of an open, low-threshold cultural offering.
