The Ruhr-Sieg line runs alongside the river and branches off in the direction of Fröndenberg. Both passenger and freight transportation are handled here. 1860 the Letmathe railroad station was connected and the line to Iserlohn was opened in 1864 (later to Menden and Fröndenberg).
There are two pedestrian bridges in the immediate vicinity: the old station bridge and the Luisenbrücke bridge. This connects the station directly to the center of Letmathe.
There are car parking spaces (Park & Ride) and a bus stop right next to the station building.
The Märkische Verkehrsgesellschaft bus lines 8, 15, 16 and 27 stop directly in front of the station.
The RE16, RE34, IC 34 and RB91 train lines can be used.
Since 2015, the Iserlohn workshops of Diakonie Mark-Ruhr have been operating a café and kiosk in the station building under the name "Bahnsteig 42", where people with and without disabilities work together in a group.
