To establish the “Drinking Water Initiative,” various citizens’ groups from Warstein and Rüthen joined forces and launched the “Drinking Water Initiative” to more clearly articulate the concerns of residents in Warstein, Rüthen, and the surrounding area regarding their water supply. The issue at hand is the threat to the water supply posed by quarry companies drilling into risky depths.
