Properties:
The Hochheide hiking parking lot is a suitable starting point for wonderful hikes on the Rothaarsteig. For example, you can hike through the Schwarzbachtal nature reserve to the Rhine-Weser Tower (observation tower, restaurants) or southwards via the Dreiherrnstein and the Ferndorf spring to the Ginsburg (observation tower; refreshments available).
A shorter circular tour is offered by the designated hiking trail A4, which leads to the Sauerland Seelenort "Schwarzbachtal bei Haus Schwarz". You can find lots of interesting facts about the hiking area between Heinsberger Heide, Schwarzbachtal and Dreiherrnstein at "Grenzgeschichten hautnah".
