To the west of the village of Medelon, the Orketal hiking parking lot is the starting point for the Sauerland-Wanderdorf - Orketal P Medelon region; located not far from the L 617 "Orkestraße".

You will find the nature park's hiking board on the country road 617 in the direction of Hesborn at the hiking parking lot for the Orke nature trail.

The Orke water trail is right next to the hiking board. The local circular hiking trails A7, A8, A9 and the German Unity Trail are also signposted hiking trails from the hiking parking lot. The Sauerland-Höhenflug and Medebacher Berg trails, which have been designated as premium trails, lead along here.
