On a discovery tour of the typical Siegerland landscape
The "Oberbach" hiking parking lot is the starting point of the Hilchenbach adventure trail (4.5 km), a beautiful family hike that leads alternately uphill and downhill through forest and open countryside. There are always fantastic views of the valley not far from the village of Ruckersfeld. With the help of several information boards and playful elements, the trail provides information about the forest as a place of recreation, a supplier of raw materials and a habitat for animals and plants. The trail is marked with a fir tree. The A 3 trail also starts from the hiking parking lot and covers a similar distance (4.2 km) via Hof Buchen and Hof Mausthal. You also have the option of joining the Siegerland Trail (x 5) to join. This is a main SGV hiking trail that leads from Iserlohn to Siegen. From Oberbach, the fifth stage runs via Dreis-Tiefenbach to Siegen (approx. 16 km). The Netphen circular trailwhich leads over 70 km in a large arc around the neighboring community, passes the hiking parking lot and can be walked.

Note: There is no winter service at the parking lot.
