To reach this hiking parking lot away from Hesborn, turn left from the L 617 coming from Liesen onto Buchhagenweg just before the Borbet company. The path leads past the company on the right and then left again. Continue straight ahead until you reach the "Hohe Schlade" hiking parking lot below the Hilmesberg.

The "Sauerland-Höhenflug" trail leads directly past this parking lot.

The Hohe Schlade hiking parking lot is a good starting point for a hike to the Bollerberg tower.

12 km long hike from Hallenberg-Hesborn to Hallenberg leads past the "Hohe Schlade" parking lot. More details here
