Hikes around Rückershausen

The "Rückershausen" hiking parking lot is the starting point for numerous hikes and walks. From here, you can take the A 1 (5 km) to Oberndorf or the longer A 2 (10 km) around the 695 m high Birkenhecke. The local hiking trails also offer similar routes F 6(13.9 km), which leads via Feudingen, Rüppershausen and Weide, and the F 7 (9.4 km), which runs uphill and downhill around Rückershausen. It is also possible to join the 25 km long Meander Trail from the hiking parking lot. This challenging circular trail leads along wide meadows, through rustic forests and many picturesque valleys. Along the way, there are always fantastic views of the meandering Benfe. Before you set off on one of the hikes described here, take a look at the ski jumping facility of the local ski club. With a natural ski jump, a plastic covered hill and a small jumping facility, it is unique in the district.

From the hiking parking lot, you can also start the Laaspher circular trail (marked L in a circle). This 72 km long trail leads in 3-4 day stages around the town of Bad Laasphe and gives a good impression of the landscape.
