Hiking experiences between Erndtebrück and Bad Laasphe

The "Amtshäuser Höhe" hiking parking lot is the starting point for numerous hikes and walks. For example, you can walk along the Erndtebrück circular route to Schameder airfield. Due to its thermal conditions, this is a good starting point for gliding and sightseeing flights over the Wittgenstein low mountain range landscape. The 5.5 km long Ampen 2 circular trail also starts from the hiking parking lot. It leads through spruce forests along the "Bärenkaute" nature reserve. This is a large, extensive wetland area characterized by a rich variety of flora and fauna.

Further hiking options:

A 3- Circular trail (6.5 km): Hiking trail through the Langegrund, which alternates between wooded and open areas and passes through Ampen, the northernmost part of Bad Laaspher. In between, there is always the opportunity to pause and enjoy the view.

A 1- Circular trail: The trail starts not far from the hiking parking lot in the direction of Forsthaus Immergrün and then runs around the Rammelsberg back to Amtshäuser Höhe.
