The Open Mind Place Heidentempel is a place of respite for hikers and is located directly on the Heidenstraße, a trade route between Leipzig and Cologne that is over 1,000 years old.
Situated at the transition between forest and clearing, the wooden structure consists solely of a circular roof canopy supported by wooden pillars, with seating areas for resting and relaxing. A cutout offering a view of the treetops and the sky symbolizes the darkness of the forest and the light of the fields. The Heidentempel is a place for connecting with nature and other people.
