Important regulations at Lake
SorpeWe assume no liability for the accuracy of this information. In case of doubt, the current fishing license applies! Attention: at the RV dams in the Sauerland, the red flag is mandatory for all anglers trolling from a fishing boat!!! Catch limits: max. 2 trout, 2 zander, 3 pike, 3 char, 10 whitefish, 2 carp tackle:2 fishing rods + 1 sinkerFishing time:1h before sunrise to 1h after sunset. From 1.6. - 30.9. night fishing is permitted from the shore, but not on the road side of the foreshore! Boat fishing: Boats may only be operated by muscle power without a sticker. Boat fishing is prohibited on the forebay from 15.2. to 15.6. Fishing area: With a few exceptions (e.g. the area around the dams, see map for details), the entire bank can be fished.
Please note: from 16.6. to 30.9., fishing close behind the forebay is restricted between 11.00 and 17.00. From 1.4. to 14.11. it is not allowed to fish at the summer diving spot! Spawning sanctuaries: From 1.11. to 15.6. the areas of the Sorpe marked as spawning sanctuaries may not be fished. Prohibitions: Ice fishing, live bait fishing, making fires and wild camping are prohibited on the Sorpesee! No tents or canopy tents may be used on the roadside of the forebay
