At the Piratenbucht adventure playground on Hennesee, there is a modern drinking water fountain where visitors can enjoy fresh drinking water for free and refill their own water bottles. The fountain is open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. from May through October.
The water nozzle is activated at the push of a button. An automatic flush before each water dispense, as well as regular interval flushes, ensure hygienically fresh drinking water. An integrated cooling system keeps the water pleasantly cool.
The solar-powered drinking water fountain requires no electrical connection and is dismantled and safely stored during the winter months. It’s a convenient way to get free drinking water during a visit to Pirate Bay. Additionally, there’s a foot shower on the barefoot trail for refreshment.
The drinking water fountain is in operation daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. from May through October. During the winter months, it is taken down and stored.
The S70 bus line runs along Lake Hennesee from Meschede and Eslohe. Bus stop: Berghauser Bucht The Berghauser Bucht large-capacity parking lot is located directly on the B55. From here, there is a safe pedestrian path (underpass) to Berghauser Bucht on Lake Hennesee.
