The building that once housed the Usseln Dairy is now home not only to the Upland Milk Museum but also to the Upland Bauernmolkerei organic grocery store.
In addition to our own organic pasture-raised dairy products and a wide selection of regional and national organic cheeses at our cheese counter, you’ll also find sausages, wine, and other organically produced items, as well as a small selection of gift items. Order a gift basket from us for celebrations or birthdays! We’d be happy to put together a custom cheese platter for you.

We, the organic farmers, not only supply milk—we also process it in our own dairy into high-quality regional products and market them ourselves. Animal welfare, biodiversity conservation, and climate protection are top priorities at Upland Bauernmolkerei. Whenever possible, our cows have access to open Weidespaces.
Our product line consists exclusively of organic pasture-fed dairy products from certified organic farms that are Bioland and Fairbio-certified:
Whole milk, low-fat milk, regional Hessian pasture-fed milk, chocolate milk, plain yogurt, butter, buttermilk, fruit-flavored buttermilk (orange-passion fruit and raspberry-lemon), whipped cream, sour cream, thick sour cream, crème fraîche, and Handkäse with and without caraway. We supply these products to health food stores, wholesalers, regional specialty shops, and food retailers. We also offer our products in our own organic grocery store.
