In the Curioseum, you can discover and marvel at what Hans Schlömer from Willingen has collected, bought and built over the course of his life. Most of these are curiosities from Germany and all over the world, which have been turned into an amazing exhibition.
On 2,500 square meters you will find thousands of exhibits on two floors. The 650 m barrier-free tour leads visitors on a path full of educational and impossible things. From the sad remnants of Willingen aviation and delicious canned monkey brains to the unique Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing, there is something worth seeing for everyone.
Visitors shaking their heads should take a second look here and there to perhaps understand the ideas and stories behind the exhibits on display. Otherwise, a guided tour of the Curioseum can also help to shed some light on the subject.

Vintage car collection
In the Curioseum, you can view 50 vintage cars, 20 sometimes bizarre microcars and old motorcycles. There are also old tractors from 1920 onwards, technical equipment, an extensive maritime exhibition and the original Seal-class submarine from the Second World War.
enthusiasts can admire a beautiful Jaguar E-Type or an Austin Healey Sprite MK 1, for example, which the owner used to drive himself.
Some of the tractors on display have been restored, while others are still in their original condition and provide an instructive journey back in time to the past of agriculture.

Panopticon: quirky - weird - rare
There are numerous showcases with original collector's items to discover. Immerse yourself in a world full of curiosities where nothing seems impossible. The highlight for many visitors will probably be the moon car, even if it is certainly no longer roadworthy. Even those who like a scare will get their money's worth at the Curioseum. In one part of the exhibition, visitors are accompanied by Terminator Schwarzenegger and other non-human mythical creatures. The word 'crazy' probably sums it up best - fun for the whole family.
