The Berghausen parish church is probably the oldest preserved Romanesque church in the Sauerland.
St. Cyriakus Church was built around 1220 as a Romanesque three-aisled cruciform basilica with three east apses and a massive west tower. This makes it one of the oldest surviving churches in the Sauerland.
