The new canoe route at the Stiftsmühle weir complex combines active water sports with modern urban development and natural recreation. Located directly on the River Lippe, a versatile facility has been created here that combines flood protection, ecological enhancement and recreational use.
Over a length of around 125 meters, the water is directed through the course, creating ideal conditions for sporting activities on the water. At the same time, the facility blends harmoniously into the redesigned river landscape and opens up new perspectives on the Lippe and its surroundings.
The canoe course is currently reserved exclusively for use by WSC Lippstadt and its supervised training groups with trainers.
Whether as an exciting eye-catcher during a walk or as a place for active water sports - the canoe route sets a modern accent and makes the Lippe in Lippstadt even more enjoyable.
