The “Haus des Gastes” has a long and rich history in the community of Bad Sassendorf. The building at Kaiserstrasse 14 has served various purposes over the years and bears witness to the town’s historical transformation.

The building was originally designed as “Badehaus 1.” In 1925, the spa administration office was established here, replacing the old bathhouse. Serving as the headquarters for the development of the spa town, the spa directors planned the expansion of Bad Sassendorf into a health resort from this location. It was rebuilt and renovated in 1965 under the new name “Haus des Kurgastes.”
Today, the “Haus des Gastes” serves as the “Visitor Information Center” and is the primary point of contact for all spa guests, vacationers, and day visitors seeking information about the town’s diverse offerings. For more information, call 02921-9433456.
