A highlight of this village is the large wooden cross on the summit of the "Alte Grimme", which was first erected in 1935. From here, there is a unique view of the village of Elkeringhausen with the St. Bonifatius educational center, a place of reflection and encounter. The summit tour, which leads through beautiful woodland and past the Orke stream, finally takes you to the educational establishment.
