You can enjoy this healing-climatic hiking tour on the panoramic Sonnenweg trail in the village of Elkeringhausen.

The tour has been physiologically and bioclimatologically measured and is characterized by the following climatic aspects:

Short circular route with individual climbs totaling 97 metres in altitude. Average energy consumption at 75 kg body weight: approx. 325 kcal.

Directions

We start at the Haus des Gastes in Elkeringhausen and walk along the lake toward the southwest until, shortly after passing the last houses, we turn right into the forest. From there, the trail leads uphill through the grounds of the St. Bonifatius Educational Center and continues through sparse woods and along the edge of the forest. Benches and scenic views invite us to stop and rest every now and then. After leaving the forest, we turn right and walk a short distance along the road, then follow the paved path downhill back to our starting point.
