Zed Mitchell is regarded as one of the best guitarists on the international blues-rock scene. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Zed Mitchell Band, a special limited edition album is being released that documents two decades of uncompromising music in its purest form: Pure Analog Blues-Rock-Energy.
The album comprises nine carefully selected compositions that originally appeared on releases from the last 20 years. All tracks were recorded completely analog and live at the renowned Club Domicil in Dortmund (Germany) - a place that stands for authenticity, dynamics and real live sound.
With his powerful guitar playing, emotional depth and unmistakable tone, Zed Mitchell combines the tradition of the blues with a modern rock attitude. Together with his band, he has supported international greats such as Santana, B.B. King, Joe Cocker, Joe Bonamassa, Robert Cray, Larry Carlton and many more on stage.
