"Frauenpower" - Exhibition

Eight women who paint are creating the joint exhibition "Frauenpower". They were born in different countries and started painting at very different times. They move freely between abstraction and figuration, between emotion and experiment. Each painting is a new expression, each brushstroke a step into new territory. Versatility and creativity are expressed in sometimes very different works. They are paintings by women, most of which depict women. Like the painting "Saudades - Longings" by Leni da Rocha Lordêlo Gehlen. Born in Brazil, she studied art in her home country and has lived and taught in Germany for many years. All of the exhibitors have taken part in the courses she offers in Störmede, where the artist supports all participants in realizing their ideas, whether in oil, acrylic, pastel or watercolour.
The "Frauenpower" exhibition shows a diverse selection of paintings by all eight female painters.
