On the first weekend of Advent, Altena Castle opens its doors for a very special event: the Winter Spectacular.
The hilltop castle is transformed into a luminous work of art full of music, glittering lights and Victorian flair. Visitors can experience fire shows, walk acts, magicians and storytellers, stroll through atmospherically illuminated castle courtyards and discover arts and crafts as well as culinary specialties. There is also plenty for children to experience - from creative hands-on activities to exciting guided tours. An unforgettable start to the Advent season!
