Wednesday Night

This big band concert is something very special: the fantastic Lippstadt jazz ensemble "Wednesday Night" will be playing on Saturday, 10.10.2026, at 5 pm in the Globe of the music school. This will be the band's third concert since 2023. They will be joined by arranger and pianist Guido Schlegel and the long-standing line-up:

Eva Bölting: alto saxophone

Dieter Hermes: alto saxophone

Helmut Reimer: trumpet

Christian Daniels: Tenor saxophone

Martin Schreiber: Baritone and tenor saxophone

Markus Hoppe: Bass

Manfred Nietsch: Drums

New on board since summer 2025:

Trumpeter Johannes Gunkel.

The program includes finely arranged mainstream jazz titles - all five-part arrangements by Guido Schlegel.

Admission is free; the ensemble is happy to receive a donation for a good cause.
