The "Kupferhammer Trail" integrates the museum and cultural center "Haus Kupferhammer" in Warstein more closely into its neighborhood. It creates informative access to rather unnoticed sights and curiosities in the immediate vicinity of the historical ensemble. The rich flora to be discovered to the left and right of the trail is a source of pleasant amazement.
The approx. 1.5 km long circular trail leads along the stations:
- Haus Kupferhammer ensemble (museum and farm building)
- Ponds, Wäster and wild garden behind the inner courtyard
- Bergenthalpark
- Wästerbiotop/Kupferhammer sports ground
- Lattrich mill/Anglerheim/Betriebshof/Kläranlage
- LWL park with Treisekapelle
- Warstein railroad station in Suttrop
- Wästerwehr/Franz-Hegemann-Straße.
At each stop, the historical background and social events of the place are told. The blooming flora along the trail is expertly explained.
