Exploring a cave, actually a cave tour, is an experience! Even if "Die Höhle im Kattenstein" is wet, clayey and cold (approx. 7°). The cave has been owned by the Kallenhardt branch of the BUND NRW nature conservation foundation since 2008. At 200 meters, it is one of the most important and most beautiful natural caves in the northern Sauerland. Equipped with a helmet and flashlight, after a brief introduction to its history and information on rock formations, you will make your way up and down through the narrow underground passages. Metre after metre is covered sliding and climbing until the "sweaty" path leads back into daylight at the end.
