Vacation festival - Diemelsee in flames

For many vacation guests and day visitors, the vacation festival in Heringhausen is certainly one of the most beautiful lake festivals in Waldeck-Frankenberg and reason enough to visit the reservoir at the foot of the Sauerland mountains once again.

The festival program starts at 2.oo pm with a colourful festival mile along the parking lot above the bathing beach. Lots of games and great prizes await the little ones. Meanwhile, mom and dad can enjoy coffee and cake and watch the children run around. For example, on the giant slide, bullriding or on the bouncy castle.
Musical entertainment is also provided in the afternoon by the Musikverein Marsberg.

The evening program in the large parking lot above the lido is provided by the dance band "Comeback" from 8 pm. Drinks, barbecued food, chips, fish sandwiches, pizza and mushrooms will be served throughout the day.

The illuminated boat parade will then set off on the Diemelsee at dusk, lighting up the lake together with the torches lit on the shore. This always brings a lot of applause from the numerous visitors on the opposite side of the lake. A fireworks display over the lake concludes the official programme.

The organizers of the vacation festival - the local clubs in Heringhausen - would like to point out that there are plenty of parking spaces available.
