AN EVENING AGAINST LACK OF JOY
Thomas Philipzen, part of the Münster cult cabaret "Storno", brings the continuation of his Best Of program to the stage. In Gehirn in Teilzeit , he races through the volatility of the political and social climate, playing, singing and improvising. And in the meantime, it's turning our control center into a real headache. Turning point or end time, full time or time out - or simply: no time at all? How is the accumulated madness of the entire globe supposed to fit into such a small brain?
Courageous counter-laughter helps to properly ventilate the frontal lobe. Unleashed, Philipzen oscillates between the new and the decaying, gets lost in the blackouts and blunders of modern man and realizes that people and troubleshooting are like fashion and flared trousers: no matter how awful, they always come back. An evening against a lack of cheerfulness and joke rhythm disorders.
The winner of numerous cabaret awards has conquered German-speaking cabaret audiences over the last 30 years with his bizarre stories and songs, infectious enthusiasm and unmistakable wordplay.
