With his current solo program "Hirn in Teilzeit", cabaret artist Thomas Philipzen races through the inconstancy of the political and social climate, playing, singing and improvising. And in the meantime, our control center is making quite a racket. How is the madness of this huge planet supposed to fit into such a small brain? To properly ventilate the frontal lobe, courageous counter-laughter helps. Unleashed, Philipzen oscillates between the new and the past, confusion and confidence, getting lost in the blackouts and blunders of modern man. The audience can look forward to bizarre stories and quirky songs with depth embedded in Philipzen's equally unmistakable and unconventional variety of performances.
