They miss their families, are homesick and the working conditions in Germany are not easy, but their families back home are counting on them and the money they send there. At some point, 22-year-old Nour and her friends Tülay, Mercedes, Dede and Cemile realize that they have come as "guests" and that guests are actually treated better, aren't they? Nour hears about a women's strike in the 1920s. From then on, the young women began to fight for the rights of female workers and demanded better accommodation in their hostels, better working conditions, German courses and higher wages! Under the slogan: "One mark more!", the young women finally want to get out of the so-called "low-wage group". The friends organize themselves and the industrial action begins...
