The old main cemetery in Lippstadt has been a place of remembrance and rest for around 200 years. Old gravestones tell of sad and sometimes cheerful stories of the Lippstadt residents who found their final resting place here. The park-like site, where mourning is expressed in old and newer grave symbols, is part of Lippstadt's history. The tour starts at the Blankenburg memorial, behind the restaurant "Der Hülshoff".
