The traveling exhibition of the LWL-Museumsamt für Westfalen spans an arc from the formation of the earth, through the present and into the future. In five chapters, it explores fundamental questions: What is the climate? How has the climate developed over the course of geological history? What is man-made climate change? What are its consequences? And how can these consequences be countered? The focus is on Westfalen.
The exhibition can be seen at Haus Kupferhammer until March 15.
As a local addition, the exhibition is framed with photographs by the photo artist Prof. Dr.Jürgen Bechtloff (https://www.jb-arte.de/intro.html) on the subject of"Wide proximity - the tree in time and space".
On Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 5 p.m., we invite you to a talk with the Eversberg photographer at Haus Kupferhammer.
