Super-Queen
Supertramp and Queen acoustic!
Super-Queen has been thrilling audiences since 2008. Full of passion and fun, the three musicians play the hits of two great bands and fill small venues through to large halls.
In 2018, the trio played to sold-out houses as part of their anniversary tour. One of their highlights was the Werl Stadthalle, which was packed with 800 people.
As at all of their concerts, the band interacts with the audience and always involves the listeners in the program. Singing together on Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" or Supertramp's "Breakfast in America" is already legendary and has become a must.
The instrumentation is unusual: The missing electric guitar solos are replaced by numerous wind instruments (saxophones) or keyboards, the drums by cajon and percussionists and acoustic guitar. The group's aim is to get the maximum out of a minimal line-up. The three-part vocals are just as convincing as the feeling of being transported back to an almost forgotten time.
