In the third exhibition series of Hellweg-Konkret, the Westfalen Salzwelten looks back to the first concrete artists in the region.
Starting with the artists K.G. Schmidt and Jo Kuhn, who live in Bad Sassendorf, the exhibition unfolds a regional network of concrete artists with Gordon F. Turner from Erwitte, Hartmut Böhm, Carlernst Kürten from Unna and Erich Lütkenhaus
from Hamm. The exhibition looks for connecting and divergent elements between the artists and explores what constitutes an artistic friendship. A selection
of graphics, prints, collages and sculptures by the individual artists will be on display.
