Senase Trio (Colombia)
Latin American soundscapes between tradition and renewal
The Colombian Senase Trio is the formation of siblings Natalia, Sebastián and Sergio Castrillón, who embark on a fascinating sound journey with harp, cellos and vocals. They were born in Manizales, a town in central Colombia in the department of Caldas, which is famous for its coffee cultivation and lies within sight of the Nevado del Ruiz volcano.
Inspired by elements of global soundscapes and classical and improvised music, they play original compositions developed together with elements of Latin American folk: the traditional meets the experimental!
