The Schwalefeld Shooting Club celebrates its shooting festival on the third weekend in July every year. The town is festively decorated with fir trees, colorful ribbons and three festive arches.
On Saturday, the festival service and the big royal ball are on the program. The big parade on Sunday with numerous guest clubs, bands and festively dressed royal couples and their court is one of the highlights of the festival.
It gets exciting on Monday when the new king of marksmen is determined at the shooting competition. In the evening, the festival ends with music and dancing at the big royal ball.
