If a cello could talk, it would probably sound like Rupert Gillett - the exceptional British musician,
Rupert Gillett is just as much at home on international festival stages as he is at Buckingham Palace or the legendary Orient Express. The versatile cellist, bassist, composer and producer is regarded worldwide as one of the most exciting voices in jazz cello - and as a specialist for everything you "can't really do" with a cello. Rupert has played for Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh as well as for BBC radio sessions, at international festivals and at the Paralympic Games. As a musician, he has worked with jazz legend Jacqui Dankworth MBE, producer Liam Watson (The White Stripes) and singer Alison Moyet, among others. In his Holly Barn Studios, he produces award-winning artists such as Katy Carr. A must for all music lovers!
