The hike begins at the gateway to the Waldroute in Föckinghausen and leads down into the valley via the Gebkebach stream. The route continues past ponds and wild meadows until the open fields reveal a view of Eversberg. From Eversberg, the trail climbs steadily uphill to the Lörmecketurm at 615 m above sea level and leads us back to the starting point in Föckinghausen via the historic Plackweg, with a possible stop at the Waldhaus (Hotel Waldhaus Föckinghausen).
